Had a fantastic stay at Carragh House! Des and Oonagh are super friendly hosts, really made us feel at home. Loved the delicious Irish breakfast and comfy beds. Just a little too warm at night, but overall, we really enjoyed our time there!

The comfortable rooms and tasty breakfast made my stay enjoyable. The location is ideal, with local pubs and restaurants within walking distance, making it a convenient base for exploring Castlebar. The atmosphere was peaceful, which is perfect for unwinding after a long day.

The ceiling height in the upstairs rooms may pose a challenge for taller guests.

The TV is comically small for today's standards!!! The lack of air conditioning made it quite uncomfortable during warmer nights!!! The cleanliness of glass surfaces left much to be desired!!!

The room was too warm at night and had no fan, which made sleeping difficult. I found the small TV less enjoyable than I expected. Navigating Castlebar was frustrating, as the town layout is confusing and the directions provided were lacking.

Ample parking with extra security measures for motorcycles was a definite plus. I appreciated the serene atmosphere, which was perfect for exploring the area.

The hosts were super chill and remembered my wife’s vegan needs at breakfast. Our room was spacious with a comfy bed and a nice bathroom. Loved the tea and coffee in the room—it came in handy! Just wish the Wi-Fi was a bit faster. a lovely stay!

The bed was comfy, but I wished for a fan since it was warm at night. Opening the window for fresh air was a plus. Riley, the sweet dog, made my stay even cozier!
